Chicken Verde

Ingredients
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts pounded to 1/2
  • 2 tbsp oilive oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Green Chili Salsa (I use Trader Joe's Salsa Verde
  • 1- 1.5 cups Monterey Jack or Mexican Blended Cheese grated

  • 2 tbsp oilive oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Green Chili Salsa (I use Trader Joe's Salsa Verde
  • 1- 1.5 cups Monterey Jack or Mexican Blended Cheese grated
Instructions
  1. Pound chicken breast (between 2 pieces parchment or wax paper).
  2. Put oil in skillet, Brown chicken on both sides.
  3. Salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Place chicken into casserole dish.
  5. In same skillet put chicken broth and sour cream mix together and heat.
  6. Pour mixture over chicken.
  7. Spoon salsa over chicken.
  8. Top with grated cheese.
  9. Bake in 350°F oven for 25 to 30 minutes until cooked through.
